Kimathi University College of Technology is located about 6 km from Nyeri town, along Nyeri-Nyahururu Road. The campus includes education facilities, a vast coffee plantation and a forest.

The campus is basically divided into two. The University Centre where the library, departmental offices and resource centre are and what was the home of Kimathi Institute of Technology consisting of lecture rooms, workshops, hostels facilities and a football field.

The university has a campus in the heart of Nyeri town . Here self-sponsored students conveniently undertake their studies in the Central Business District of the town. The campus particularly suits working people. These can now attend lectures in the evening and on weekends.

The Nairobi Central Business (CBD) Center located on the tenth floor of Union Towers building which is at the junction of Moi Avenue and Mama Ngina Street.
