The Institute offers engineering degrees at  undergraduate levels in Geomatic engineering and geospatial information systems respectively. The undergraduate programs take five academic years of two semesters each with a design/research project in the final year. These projects allow the students to apply the concept learned to real-world situations.

COURSE

Bachelor of Science in Geomatic Engineering and Geospatial Information Systems

Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Information Science (4 Years)

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENT

EITHER OF THE FOLLOWING:
i)A holder of a Bachelor’s degree with Second Class Honors-Upper Division In any Engineering Field From a recognized University

ii)An Equivalent Engineering Degree recognized by the University Senate

iii)Second Class Honors-Lower Division With a Minimum of 2 Years work experience
(i) KCSE applicants: aggregate Grade C+ and the following minimum Grades in the individual cluster subjects.
Mathematics C+, Physics C+, Chemistry C+ or equivalent qualifications obtained in other examination systems.


NB: Holders of a corresponding Diploma in Engineering with at least a credit pass will be admitted into second year of study.
